Associate Professor of Cinema Joseph McBride and Assistant Professor of Cinema Julian Hoxter participated in an April 21 panel discussion at the Tiburon Film Festival in Sausalito on the topic of "Screenwriting at the Crossroads: Today's Options for Aspiring Screenwriters."

Emeritus Professor of Art Richard McLean is honored with an exhibit titled "Master Artist Tribute IX" at the St. Mary's College Museum of Art in Moraga, California. The exhibit opened April 22 and will run through June 17.

Chemistry and Biochemistry
Emerita Professor of Chemistry and Biochemistry Margareta Sequin's textbook Chemistry of Plants, was recently published by the Royal Society of Chemistry.

International Relations
Associate Professor of International Relations Mahmood Monshipouri gave a talk on the Arab Spring at University of California, Berkeley on April 26.
