University Police Chief Kirk Gaston received a recommendation to serve on the International Association of Campus Law Enforcement Administrators Accreditation Commission as a representative of the Mountain/Pacific Region.
Holistic Healing
Professor Erik Peper and Assistant Professor Richard Harvey of the Institute for Holistic Healing Studies/Department of Health Education presented, "Discovering Somatics from the Experts," at the 2008 Northern California Regional Meeting of the Biofeedback Society of California.
Political Science
Sujian Guo, political science professor and director of the Center for US-China Policy Studies, participated in a panel discussion exploring the bilateral relationship between Japan and China. The event, held May 15, coincided with Chinese President Hu Jintao's historic visit to Japan and was co-sponsored by the World Affairs Council, USF Center for the Pacific Rim and Asia Society Northern California.
