Affordable Instructional Materials request for proposals due Dec. 15
SF State's Affordable Instructional Materials Initiative (AIM) has been awarded funding by the Chancellor's Office to expand the impact of the CSU Affordable Learning Solutions initiative. Funding will go to faculty and department projects that target specific courses or programs that currently use high-cost instructional materials or have historically not used free or low-cost materials.
Individual faculty members may each submit one proposal for funding to support efforts to reduce the cost of learning to students. Multiple faculty may submit program- or department-level proposals as a group. The amount of funding ranges from $250 to $2,500 per proposal, depending on projected impact. For additional information, visit the new Affordable Instructional Materials website at http://affordablelearning.sfsu.edu
The final due date for proposals is Monday, Dec. 15, or until funding is fully allocated. Submit AIM project proposals to SF State's Affordable Instructional Materials team using the form at http://tinyurl.com/nopto8l
