Judith Ann (Fox) Blomberg
Professor of Education Judith Ann (Fox) Blomberg died peacefully on Oct. 23 at her Berkeley home surrounded by family. She served SF State for 20 years (1990-2010) as a faculty member of the Graduate College of Education and headed the middle-level teacher training program during the latter years of her tenure. Felix Rivera
Professor Emeritus of Social Work Felix Rivera passed away on Nov. 28. He taught research, community organizing and other macro practice courses in the School of Social Work for 33 years -- from 1973 to 2006. Rivera authored and edited (with John L. Erlich) Community Organizing in a Diverse Society, which was published in three editions from 1995 to 1998. His book Suiseki: The Japanese Art of Miniature Landscape Stones was published in 1997.
