Assistant Professor of Art Gwen Allen's new book Artists' Magazines: An Alternative Space for Art has been published by The MIT Press.

Biology
Associate Professor of Biology Sarah Cohen and Associate Professor of Biology Kimberly Tanner have become Fellows of the California Academy of Sciences. Academy Fellows are a group of about 300 distinguished scientists who have made notable contributions to one or more of the natural sciences. International Education
Associate Vice President for International Education Yenbo Wu was elected to a three-year term on the board of directors for NAFSA: Association of International Educators. Wu's term will begin January 2012. NAFSA is the largest association of international educators in the U.S.
