Art
"Two Bad Daughters," a film by Associate Professor of Art Paula Levine and alum Barbara Hammer, was screened at the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art in a retrospective of Hammer's work.

Design and Industry
Assistant Professor of Design and Industry Hsiao-Yun Chu has co-edited "Dymaxion Car: Buckminster Fuller" (IvoryPress Architecture, Madrid), a bilingual (English/Spanish) book about the architect/engineer/philosopher's 1933 fuel-efficient "people carrier" and a model built to historical detail in 2010. Chu is a former assistant curator for the Buckminster Fuller Collection at Stanford University.

English
Professor of English Michael Krasny's new book, "Spiritual Envy: An Agnostic's Quest" (New World Library), addresses the big "three-o' clock-in-the-morning questions." Joyce Carol Oates contributed the foreword.
