The program on Thursday, Aug. 19, is designed for all new students and their families, and includes academic open houses, workshops for parents and students and the opportunity to taste free samples from campus eateries. Activities on Friday, Aug. 20, are geared toward students living on campus.

Events are also scheduled for Move In Day on Wednesday, Aug. 18, including the Student Life Resource Fair where students can learn more about such resources as the Student Health Center, the Career Center and Athletics.

Welcome Days is a mandatory event for all freshmen living on campus and strongly suggested for those living off campus.

RSVPs are required and must be submitted by Aug. 14. To RSVP and obtain a detailed schedule visit: www.sfsu.edu/~welcome/
