SF State Magazine now online

June 4, 2010 -- Aerial photographer Robert Campbell, who provided the bird's-eye view of campus on the cover of the newest issue of SF State Magazine, isn't the only alum whose talents have taken him straight to the top. The newly released spring/summer issue showcases the work of dozens more SF State alumni, faculty members and community members who are rising stars, winners of prestigious awards, leading researchers and creative artists.

Visit the magazine online now for the latest news on SF State's triumphs, including President Corrigan's Most Admired CEO award from the San Francisco Business Times, Pulitzer prizes for two alumni, honors in both Hollywood and Bollywood for several graduates and for another, an Iron Chef victory. Read about such important SF State discoveries as the genome of three insect species and clues to a lost civilization in another country. Other soaring successes detailed in this issue: a groundbreaking poetry anthology, a major Smithsonian exhibit on race and culture, and programs to inspire the next generation of scientists.
