New scholarships for nursing students announced

May 20, 2009 -- A pledge from the Claire V. Cunningham Masonic Scholarships Supporting Leadership in Nursing will aid professionals pursuing graduate degrees in nursing at San Francisco State University. Two $10,000 scholarships will be awarded annually to nurses pursuing master's degrees in the School of Nursing's Master's Cohort Program, which allows nursing professionals at Stanford Hospital and Clinics, the Lucile Packard Children's Hospital and other Bay Area medical facilities to pursue graduate degrees while working.
