Content: Kaddish, part of WNET's experimental video series, created and produced by Arthur Ginsberg (no relation to Allen), adapted and edited by Jenny Goldberg, visual production by Skip Sweeney. Black-and-white dramatic sequences directed by Robert Klein, featuring Marilyn Chris as Naomi, Michael Hardstack as the older Allen, Glen Weitzman as the young Allen, Michael Vale as Louis, Jerrold Ziman as Eugene. Black-and- white sequences produced by Arthur Ginsberg and Skip Sweeney. Video Free America in San Francisco responsible for the videotape production. These dramatic sequences won an Obie award in 1972 as video projection portions of the Chelsea Theater's highly acclaimed stage presentation of Kaddish, based on a script by Allen Ginsberg. Tape includes color sequences of Ginsberg reading title poem.
