Linda Norton is a poet and a visual artist. She also
works as an acquisitions editor for the University of California Press
and their New American Poetry series. Here she reads selections from her
many poems inspired by her experiences in Boston, New York, and Oakland,
including "Painter Painting," "Tossed Book of Exemplary Sonnets," "There
Then," "Box of Water," and "Be Natural." Steve Dickison introduces Norton
and the co-reader, Claudia Rankine.
