Rabih Alameddine, a novelist and painter born and raised in Beirut, Lebanon, and now living in San Francisco, reads excerpts from his debut novel KOOLAIDS: The Art of War. He then reads from an untitled manuscript about a woman who, unable to write her memoirs, revises the first chapter over and over again. Mr. Alameddine's presentation is part of an event dedicated to the Lebanese poet Etel Adnan. Steve Dickison introduces Rabih Alameddine.
