Mexican writer Mónica Lavín is the author of two novels and several collections of short stories, including Cuentos de desencuentros y otros (Stories of misencounters and others) and Ruby Tuesday no ha muerto (Ruby Tuesday is not dead), the latter from which she reads "Home Again" and "Nicholas's Lace."
