Poet Nathaniel Mackey reads "Song of Andoumboulou: Rush," the four-part composition "Four for Glen"---comprised of the shorter poems "Song of Andoumboulou: 42," "Go Left Out of Shantyville," "Song of Andoumboulou: 44," and "Glenn on Monk's Mountain"---"Sound of Semblance," and "Song of Andoumboulou: 48." Steve Dickison introduces Mackey and the evening's co-reader, Ed Roberson. As one of judges for 1998, Mackey selected Ed Roberson's Atmosphere Conditions for The National Poetry Series.
