Oakland poet Steven Farmer reads selections from his early books Coracle and Standing Water. From his most recent book Medieval, published by the collectively-edited press, Krupskaya Books,he reads "Repose Paraphrase," "Participants are Reluctant in the Description of the Field," "Sated Fables," "1933 Dust," "Translation," and excerpts from the title poem. He concludes by reading, and inviting audience members to the podium to read, from an untitled work-in-progress. Steve Dickison introduces Farmer and the evening's co-reader, Pat Reed. |
