Dr. Stanley Pogrow received his doctorate in Educational Administration from Stanford University. He is a research professor of Educational Leadership at San Francisco State University, and a coordinator of the Joint Doctoral Program in Leadership for Educational Equity. His research interests are large scale school reform for increasing equity, and the development and organization of more powerful learning environments for accelerating the learning of low-income students.

Ranii, Cynthia
Dr. Cynthia Hall Ranii received her doctoral degree in Educational Leadership from the University of Southern California in 1995. For the last eight years she has served as the Superintendent of the Los Gatos-Saratoga Joint Union High School District. Her research interests are in developing leadership capacity among high school faculty and board-superintendent relations.

Faculty Storms, Barbara
Dr. Barbara A. Storms received her doctoral degree in Educational Leadership from Northern Arizona University in 1988. She is an Associate Professor in the Department of Educational Leadership, College of Education and Allied Studies, at California State University, East Bay. Her research interests include using collaborative inquiry as a school reform strategy, leadership development, multiple measures of student achievement particularly performance assessment, promoting equity of student outcomes, and strengthening writing instruction.
