Garcia, Ray
Dr. Ray Garcia received his doctoral degree in educational administration from the University of Houston. He is Associate Professor in the Department of Educational Leadership at California State University, East Bay. His research interests focus on the sustainability of systemic reform efforts in public education.


Gifford, Bernard
Dr. Bernard R. Gifford received his doctoral degree in Biophysics from the University of Rochester Medical School. He is Faculty Director of the Joint Doctoral Program in Leadership for Educational Equity, and Professor in the Graduate School of Education at the University of California, Berkeley. His research interests are professional development programs for district-level educational leaders, organizational sense-making in school districts, and evidence-based decision-making at the school district level.

Faculty Hemphill, David
Dr. David Hemphill received his doctoral degree in Organization & Leadership from the University of San Francisco. He is Associate Dean in the College of Education and Professor in the Department of Administrator & Interdisciplinary Studies at San Francisco State University. His research interests include critical theories, cultural studies, second language acquisition and international education.


Hollingsworth, Sandra
Dr. Sandra Hollingsworth received her doctoral degree in Curriculum and Instruction/Literacy from The University of Texas, Austin. She is Professor and Coordinator of Graduate Literacy Programs at the College of Education, San José State University. Her research interests are feminist issues in education, secondary school literacy reform, and epistemological frameworks of international education.

Kysh, Judith
Dr. Judith Kysh received her doctoral degree in Mathematics Education from the University of California, Davis. She is an Associate Professor in the Departments of Secondary Education and Mathematics at San Francisco State University. Her research interests are in mathematics education K-College and school change.

Lambert, Nadine
Dr. Nadine Lambert received her Ph.D. in Psychology from the University of Southern California. She is Head Graduate Advisor for the Joint Doctoral Program in Leadership for Educational Equity, and Professor in the Graduate School of Education at the University of California, Berkeley. Her research interests are longitudinal studies of Attention Deficit Hyperactivitiy Disorder (ADHD), Consultee-Centered Consultations, and Learner-Centered Education.
