Q) After logging in, one or more of my classes are not listed.
A) This occurs when the department/college has yet to inform Academic
Services that you will be teaching the course.
You can check who has been
assigned to teach the course using the online class schedule query (see
above for instructions). To change the name of the instructor your
department must notify the college who will notify Academic Services --

Q) When I tried to access the class roster I got a message that said:
- Alert!: This client does not contain support for HTTPS URLs.
A) You are using a web browser that cannot establish a secure web
connection.
The Faculty Class Roster requires that your web browser
supports SSL encryption to protect the student's privacy. Lynx, AOL, and
early versions of Netscape browsers do not have this feature. Try again
using another browser such as Netscape version 1.12 or higher. AOL users
should type in the keyword 'Netscape' for instructions on downloading and
using Netscape with AOL. For assistance with remote access please contact
the Faculty Help Desk at 415.338.6825

Q) Students who have withdrawn from the course/university are on my roster
or on my Web grade sheet.
A) This is correct.
Students who withdraw from the course after the fourth week of the semester are still
considered enrolled. Students who have withdrawn will be identified using a pale yellow
shaded background and the word 'Withdrawn' in the Regular/Open U column. On your Web Grade Sheet
students who are withdrawn will be identified in the Status column with the word, 'Withdrawn'.

Q) How can I use the roster to tell if a student is enrolled in another section of the same course?
A) Enter the course number/abbreviation using the 'co/pre-requisite feature'
Normally, a student cannot be enrolled in two sections of the same course at the same time.
It is possible for a student to be enrolled in one section and be on the waiting list for another.
If a student manages (miraculously) to be enrolled in two sections of the same course the designator Conc will appear twice in the column for the pre-requisite course.
If a student is enrolled in another section of the course and on the waiting list for your course a single 'Conc' will appear in the pre-requisite check column in the 'Waiting List' section of your roster.
