Taste of SF State is a zero waste event. That means that none of the waste generated at this event will go into the garbage (landfill). Instead, all of the waste will either be diverted into composting or recycling. San Francisco currently has a three stream waste system containing green (compost), blue (recycling), andblack (garbage/landfill) bins. In compliance with the city’s Zero Waste Ordinance, all community members are working to eliminate the garbage/landfill stream by the year 2020. Please do your part by using the correct bins. If you're interested in learning more about sustainability on campus, please visit both of these websites: http://www.sfsu.edu/~sustain/ and http://www.sfsustudentcenter.com/programs/sustainability.php

We hope you have a great time at our event, while helping the environment as well!
