Pedro's Voice

How have increased tuition fees impacted you and your family?:
My family immigrated here on a VISA in 2001 when my father got a scholarship and job opportunity at San Diego State. I have been living in California for most of my life, but CSU insists on making me pay regular tuition many times over because of "non-resident tuition fees". I also do not qualify for financial aid because of this. I feel like a second-class citizen. My family and I are hard-working people but we simply cannot afford these increases.

What are you studying at SF State and what do you hope to do once you graduate?:
I am undeclared at the moment and am just taking general ed classes at the moment, but I'm interested in music, journalism and physics.
