How have increased tuition fees impacted you and your family?:
The raised tuition fees have affected me in a negative way. Since the increases began, more and more budget cuts are happening and more of our classes are being taken away. As I pay more for school, I am literally getting less. I feel like the quality of my education is going down the drain. The teachers are making less, caring less about the quality of their own work in teaching us the students. The students are therefore caring less as well, taking away from the excitement and hope that comes from higher education. I am shocked and confused as to how we are getting so much less on every level from our education system, but being charged more. Shouldn't we be gaining more with each investment? We as students have a hard enough time getting by, working, and taking 12+ units per semester, shouldn't we be gaining more support from our educators?

What are you studying at SF State and what do you hope to do once you graduate?:
I'm studying Criminal Justice and I hope to continue on to law school, perhaps working with youth as a probation officer while going through school. I love this major, but I can't even get the classes I need to graduate. I've been in school for 5 years.. I tried enrolling in classes for next semester and hardly got into any classes I need to complete my major. This is like a never ending cycle of us paying more, getting less, and staying longer and wasting more money. It needs to be fixed.
