How have increased tuition fees impacted you and your family?:
This is my first time living away from home, alone. I have no financial support from my family. I rely solely on government financial aid and loans. I budget like crazy, I don't eat well, and I live in a two bedroom apartment with five other people. Yet, I am doing well in school and having a great time. Somehow, I have survived my first semester at SFSU without any major damages. If tuition is raised, I may not be able to survive another semester. I barely survived this semester yet if I am given less money due to a raise in tuition, I may only make it half-way the semester before I find myself with no more money. I have two student loans which I plan to pay for once I graduate and obtain my degree. If I can't finish my schooling, all I will have is debt, student debt and no degree, no career.

What are you studying at SF State and what do you hope to do once you graduate?:
