How have increased tuition fees impacted you and your family?:
Yes, since fees have increased, and I do not want to take out any more loans, it takes me a lot longer to save up the money. This means that most semesters I am late on paying 4-5 grand. Being late on your payments to the school really is not an option, since classes are hard enough to get into. Last semester I missed my early registration period for being late on a payment, this left me getting into only two of the classes that I needed. To compensate, I decided that I would register for skyline college and take two classes there. This also impacts my wallet. I need to drive from SFSU, to skyline every day, and pay for two separate parking passes. It also does not help that I am out of state. This increases my fees even more.

What are you studying at SF State and what do you hope to do once you graduate?:
Marine Biology, I am planning on applying for graduate school in Hawaii, and working in a shark conservation program as an intern there.
