Katherine's Voice

How have increased tuition fees impacted you and your family?:
Fees are raising too fast. In the past two years the fess have risen from 2600 to 3200. This is unacceptable. Can you work full time and go to school full time? This is very hard and I don't understand why someone like me who is considered working poor has to go through this just to have a better life. When I graduate I probably won't find a job because of a bad job economy. So you tell me what is the point? Rich people can go to school and stay rich. I go to school and stay poor no matter what. What is going on with our government? Can you not find anywhere else to get the money. Why don't you all stop building prisons. I'm ready to protest because of this and I know many people who feel the way I do. If you want to prevent an upraising THINK ABOUT US STUDENTS, WE SHOULD BE A PRIORITY! Not to mention those people living off student loans - God Bless them because they will suffer!

What are you studying at SF State and what do you hope to do once you graduate?:
English - God Bless me!
