How have increased tuition fees impacted you and your family?:
I have had very little money to live on considering the high cost of attending SFSU, my school that I adore. This impacts me by not having the money to buy essential items such as milk, which has gotten very expensive and as rents in the Bay Area are so astronomical I barely have enough money to pay rent. These basics of housing and nutrition are foundations, just to name a few, for one to grasp new concepts and focus on learning. Without these basics and with the added stresses of having to go without the basic necessities, such as medical and dental care, can make learning insurmountable.

What are you studying at SF State and what do you hope to do once you graduate?:
Cell and Molecular Biology I would love to attend medical school at UCSF so that I may then serve the homeless community as a general practitioner.
