Hanna's Voice

How have increased tuition fees impacted you and your family?:
Even though I qualify for grants, it is not enough to cover my tuition and I am forced to take out loans AND work throughout my years at a STATE university. I am sick of hearing countless people in their 40's and older brag about how when they went to state tuition was $210 a semester. How has the budget become so unbalanced that I have to pay thousands for something being offered under the guise of a state service. When I graduate, I'll be lucky if I can get a job, and even luckier if I will be able to repay the massive debt I'm certain I'll graduate with.

What are you studying at SF State and what do you hope to do once you graduate?:
I'm an English Education major, once I graduate I'll be applying for a credential program in the bay area and after getting my single-subject credential I will teach English to Middle or High Schoolers.
