How have increased tuition fees impacted you and your family?:
I work two jobs and take out loans so that I can receive an education and I'm still swimming in debt. I fill out forms, apply for help, and just when I think I'm getting ahead the school increases fees again. This eats up my financial aid, and puts more pressure on me to work more hours, which directly affects my school work. I haven't had a day off in over a month because I'm working so hard to keep up with the bills coming in.
What are you studying at SF State and what do you hope to do once you graduate?:
I'm a Hospitality Major with a focus on Restaurant and Catering Management. I hope to help run the company that I am currently employed with after graduation.
