How have increased tuition fees impacted you and your family?:
When I attended San Francisco State University as a community college transfer student back in the Fall of 2009, I had no idea how budget cuts would affect my undergraduate education. I soon learned that in order to get the classes I would need for graduation (and in order to take the classes necessary to get into graduate school), I had to wait (incredibly anxiously) by my computer at the end of each semester to try and be the first person to sign up for the required classes the following semester. Signing up for classes turned out to be a competitive, disgusting "fight to the death" because of how few classes there were, and how quickly they filled up. I had to fight tooth and nail to get the classes I needed, and now when I look back at my experience after graduating in 2010, I can only say that I would never wish it on anyone else. How will the future, with more and more students attending college, treat those who wish to pursue higher education? How many more out-of-state and foreign exchange students will our CSU's and UC's be accepting only because they pay higher tuition? Will the wealthy be the only one's who can afford college? I certainly hope that the future will be brighter for California's State Schools and Universities than it was when I was in school.

What are you studying at SF State and what do you hope to do once you graduate?:
I studied Psychology at San Francisco State University, and graduated with my BA in December of 2010.
