Program Advising:

Final advising day via e-mail for Dr. Hong for Spring 2014 semester will be May 30th. 

The Department of Special Education and Communication Disorders will be available to answer advising questions over the summer months. You can contact the Department at 415 338-1161 or spedcd@sfsu.edu

Dr. Amanda Lueck will be coordinating the VI Program and will begin e-mail advising for Fall Semester 2014 on August 18th. She will not be available during the summer months before that date.  E-mail is the quickest way to contact Dr. Lueck at <amandal@sfsu.edu>   Individual consultation and follow-up will be assisted by Lizbeth Barclay and Ting Siu as needed.

DISTANCE CLASSES

Instructions on how to access QuickTime video and Blackboard video conferencing will be followed on a separate message.

 

** Important: For those who will take the distance classes via remote access, please be sure to request permission from Dr. Lueck to take SPED-749 and/or Sped-751 via videostream. The videostream option is for students who cannot travel realistically to the campus (50 miles one way from the campus). Videostream students require approval and set-up information to use this option

Videostream students will be provided information about how to connect to the weekly online videostream and prior to the beginning of the Fall classes.

                   Students can call directly to reserve rooms.   Please let the hotel know that you will be working at the California School for the Blind, and you may be entitled to a special rate. Sharing a room reduces costs.
