The U.S.-Japan Institute at San Francisco State University periodically organizes lectures and conferences around topics of interest to American and Japanese students, executives, academics and policy makers. These lectures and conferences cover a wide range of topics and can be tailored to the demands of the interested group. The number of participants have varied between ten and forty. The Institute has cooperated with professors, consultants, and policy specialists to host a number of memorable conferences over the years. We have also worked with many Japanese and American Organizations to jointly sponsor events.
The lecture/conference program can vary from half a day to one week. We can arrange for translators if necessary. These activities take place on the scenic San Francisco State University campus and we make us of very modern facilities to present the high quality programs. If necessary, we can also organize a site visit to an organization or company in the Bay Area specializing in the topic of interest. Some of the topics covered in past conferences include: |
