Emergency Preparedness Training

New Hire Emergency Preparedness Overview Training:  

A 15 minute power-point presentation with Q&A is conducted monthly or as needed, as part of Human Resources’ New Hire Employee Orientation Program.  Trainer:  Emergency Preparedness Coordinator


SF State Multi-Hazard Emergency Plan Overview and Introduction

to the SEMS/NIMS/ICS emergency management systems for all employees.

FEMA and CAL EMA Certified Trainer: Emergency Preparedness Coordinator


San Francisco State University Emergency Team Training:

Specialized training is provided annually for employees designated as a building coordinator or building emergency team member, EOC team members, or other members of the campus emergency management team.  Specialized training includes, but is not limited to SEMS / NIMS / ICS, and crisis response.  Training is provided by, and /or coordinated by the Emergency Preparedness Coordinator.
