A successful response to any emergency depends on adequate preparation.
- Have you identified the marked exits and evacuation routes to evacuate your work area in case of earthquake, fire, or other emergency?
- Are you ready to assist students and staff with disabilities to evacuate in response to a fire or other alarm?
- Do you know if there are hazardous materials in your work area and how to respond to a spill?
- Do you have emergency supplies in your work area, car, and home in case you need to shelter in place due to a major event?
When you have completed this tutorial, you should be able to locate and apply the documented resources available to help you prepare for emergency situations on the SF State campus. |
