Common Data Set
The Common Data Set (CDS) is the result of a collaborative effort in 1997 between four major college guide publishers and the educational community to develop a standard set of questions and data definitions for use in surveys that gather information for college guidebooks, rankings and other resources for prospective students.
The CDS for San Francisco State University is compiled each year by the Office of Academic Institutional Research and contains a variety of information about our campus, students, faculty and academic and support programs.
