Hit enter to play the movie in Flash (does not save a .swf)

After a while show them how to do it

Rename layer one the ball

Make a ball with no stroke and a red/black gradient
fill

Convert the ball to a symbol

In the Timeline palette, to the right of the Create a
New Layer button, choose Add Motion Guide
ii.
Select the frame
iii.
Use the pen tool to create a path
1. Make
sure to have a white stroke to see the path

Move the center of the ball to the beginning of the
path
ii.
Insert a keyframe in the 60th
frame of the ball layer
iii.
Selec the 60th
frame of the guide layer and choose F5 (inserts blank frames
iv.
Move the ball in the 60th frame to the end
point of the guide path

Insert a motion tween on the
first frame of the ball layer

Choose Control > Test Movie
ii.
Go back to the home scene

Discuss the difference between .wav and .mp3
ii.
.wav or other raw files are best

Explain compression choices

Choose MP3
iii.
Test low bit rate and high bit rate

Rename the layer

Nest a text graphic symbol

Insert keyframes in all frames

Create another layer, shape

Choose the rectangle tool and create a region around
the text

Click the Onion Skin option in the Timeline just below
the Up and Over frames

Choose Scene > Home

Type > Frame Number

Rename the folder to Text Animation

Click drag and drop the text animations into the folder

Close the folder

Rename the folder, intro text animation

Click drag and drop the items in the folder
