The following test may be taken by students who wish to earn college credits at San Francisco State University:
- CLEP General Examination in Mathematics
- CLEP Subject Examination in Calculus with Elementary Functions
- CLEP Subject Examination in General Chemistry
- Optional CLEP - Contact Clinical Science Department
- a. Credit shall not be awarded for successful passage of any
- examination if the student has taken that examination previously
- within the past calendar year.
- b. Credit shall not be awarded when equivalent degree credit has been
- granted for regular course work.
- c. Credit shall not be awarded when credit has been granted for previous
- course work or for an examination more advanced than the level
- represented by the examination in question.
- d. Care shall be taken not to award duplicate credit due to overlapping
- tests, college level courses, or both. Where there is partial overlap,
- the amount of examination credit shall be prorated.
- e. The total amount of credit earned on the basis of externally developed
- test which may be applied to a baccalaureate degree shall not exceed
- 30 semester units except that Advanced Placement Examination
- credit is excluded from the limit.performs academic program evaluation
- relating to tests.
