Sustainability at University Housing

City Eats Goes Green

City Eats now offers to-go containers for the cost of one meal swipe or $9.00. Students are welcome to take food out of the dining center using the to-go containers. Healthy Eating at City Eats

The program Dine On Campus, by Chartwells and University Housing, aims to provide local, organic, hormone free, vegetarian and vegan food options at the Dining Center as well as for catered campus events.

Compost Arrives in Housing

Each residence hall now provides composting in one central location on the first floor and in all community restrooms.

All food waste and soiled paper is compostable in San Francisco.
