CSU International Programs and SFSU Bilateral Programs
The official study abroad programs offered to the San Francisco State University student span the range of all academic programs offered on our campus. We offer every major, however, not every major is available in every country. Both the SFSU Bilateral Programs and the CSU International Programs are nearly identical in structure; the main difference lies in that one is open to the entire CSU system, and the other only to SFSU students. Both programs, through SFSU, require that you are a San Francisco State University student or have been accepted to study at San Francisco State University.
The other noticeable difference between the two programs is that while the CSU IP programs are academic years in length only, the SFSU bilateral programs are either an academic year and/or semester in length. Refer to the specific program for details.
