BEST SUMMER JOB EVER

We offer summer employment at the field campus every year. These positions are on location and include lodging and meals. Staff stays on campus from the beginning of June through the beginning or middle of August, depending on the schedule. Please email Jim Steele at if you are interested.

These positions are ideal for individuals who enjoy the outdoors. The field camp is located near over 20 lakes, the Pacific Crest Trail, numbous fishing spots, world class hiking and mountain biking trails(right next to Downieville), and next to the Yuba River. When not working, the opportunities to enjoy the splendor of the Sierra Nevada are many.

Positions Available: Kitchen Staff

Kitchen staff is responsible for

  • Preparring meals for students in the morning and the evening
  • Maintaing the camp
  • Prepping accommodations for each new class
