The College Panhellenic Association is the largest women’s organization on the San Francisco State University campus. It is affiliated with the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC), and is the local governing body of the three (3) National Panhellenic Conference sororities on the SFSU campus: Alpha Gamma DeltaAlpha Phi and Phi Sigma Sigma.
The Panhellenic Council promotes excellence in academics, community and campus involvement, inspires Panhellenic sisterhood, and is committed to the vision of the National Panhellenic Conference to help create young women of excellence. The Panhellenic Council plans and executes the annual Fall Formal Recruitment process at SFSU. Our College Panhellenic Association has been a part of the SFSU campus for more than 20 years and we look forward to making a positive impact for many more. Our goal is to unite every sorority woman, regardless of individual affiliation. Together the Panhellenic Council members as well as our three Chapters strive for overall Greek unity, while working to empower and strengthen our sorority women through the values, cooperation, common interests, talents, and skills brought forth from each individual chapter. Panhellenic provides many leadership opportunities for involvement and also within the larger Greek and campus communities outside of one's individual sorority.
