Blood Drive

The Student Health Service and the Student Health Advisory Committee (SHAC) are teaming up with the Blood Centers of the Pacific to hold a blood drive!  Come donate blood and help save a life!

This semester’s event will be held on Monday, September 8 and Tuesday, September 9 in the Student Health Service Conference Room from 10 am to 3 pm.  For more information, contact Albert Angelo, health educator, at 415-338-3039 or at aangelo@sfsu.edu 

 

Donor Requirements

  • Be in good health
  • Weigh at least 110 lbs
  • Have a snack before donating
  • Drink extra water/juice
  • Bring identification (student ID)

You can check on whether you are eligible to donate blood at the Blood Centers of the Pacific web site.
