Lead Time to Clear Hold
Make sure the Registrar can clear your hold in time for your priority registration date.
If you are buying the CSU-recommended policy with Wells Fargo Student Insurance Division make your purchase at least 5 business days before your payment deadline for online purchases (or an additional 10 business days if sending payment by mail).
For any other insurance purchase (with signed affidavit) allow 5 additional business days (after receipt by the SHS Cashiers’ Office) before your payment deadline.
If you are not able to provide an Affidavit of Insurance Coverage, please allow an additional three weeks for our broker to make a professional assessment.
Please do not buy anything before your broker has agreed to submit the Affidavit of compliance on their letterhead to avoid wasting money on a policy that is non-compliant.
