Appointments and Cancellations
Scheduling Your Appointment
You may schedule your appointment in person or over the phone by calling (415) 338-1719 (except for some specialty services) . We encourage you to schedule your appointment over the phone to expedite your services. For your convenience 80% of our appointments are same-day appointments.
Walk-In Appointments
As you enter the Student Health Services, pick up an appointment slip and a number at the Information Desk and have a seat in the waiting area. While you wait for your number to be called, complete the appointment slip. Our screening nurse will call your number and proceed to ask relevant questions in order to determine what type of appointment you need.
Appointment Cancellations
All students who "no show" or cancel their appointment less than 24 hours in advance will be billed $20.00. Students who need to cancel their appointment may do so by emailing cnclappt@sfsu.edu or by calling the Student Health Services cancellation line at (415) 338-1251.
