Confidential Communicator

The SHS uses Confidential Communicator, a secure and confidential system which allows you to access your SF State SHS medical information. You will be able to access information such as your lab results, messages from your provider, and itemized charges for services, medications or labs. SHS will send a notification email to your official SFSU email address which is usually a sfsu.edu email account. The email lets you know there is a confidential message from the SHS and includes a link to Confidential Communicator.

To access your sfsu.edu email go to the inside SF State Page.

Log In To Confidential Communicator

Please login with:

SF State ID Number

SF State Password

This is the same process that you use for iLearn, MySFSU, and sfsu.edu email.

The SHS uses the SF State's LDAP authentification system to insure that access to your information is secure.

Information If You Have Your Email Forwarded

If you have your sfsu.edu email forwarded to non-SFSU account (eg gmail, hotmail, yahoo etc.), it is important that you add shsemr@sfsu.edu to your webmail account's List of Contacts / Addresses.  This action will usually ensure that SHS emails are directed to your Inbox instead of your Spam folder. In addition, some students have reported that they were not able to access their sfsu.edu emails via their Yahoo accounts and had to change their webmail service in order to resolve the problem. To start/stop the automatic forwarding of your SFSU email to another account please visit the SF State Email Account Services Page.
