Nutrition Clinic

A registered dietitian is available for free, private individual appointments and group/classroom presentations on topics such as weight management, sports nutrition, eating disorders, vegetarian diet, cholesterol education, basic food shopping and cooking techniques, nutrition assessment, and other nutrition-related topics.

Appointment

Nutrition appointments are made on-line. Go to the SHS home page and click on Confidential Communicator and login with your user name and password. On the left side of the page, you may make an initial nutrition appointment (for students who have never seen the nutritionist or has not seen her in over 1 year) or a follow-up appointment. If you are making an initial nutrition appointment, it is important that you complete the nutrition questionnaire. You have 40 minutes to complete the on-line questionnaire and can not return a second time to add information. Initial appointments last 40 minutes and follow-up appointments last 20 minutes.

Your appointment may be delayed if the nutrition questionnaire is not completed.

Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled appointment. If you fail to keep your appointment or do not cancel it prior to your visit, you will be billed the $20 no-show fee.
