SHS uses “Confidential Communicator,” a confidential and secure system to communicate medical information to you about your visits to SHS. These communications may include information such as your lab results, a message from your provider or your itemized charges for medications or labs. How to log in to Confidential Communicator for the first time:
- The first time you log in to this system, you will be asked to create a user name and password.
- This will prompt the system to send an activation code to your sfsu.edu email address. The subject line will be “Student Health Service – important message”
- If you have forwarded your email to a non-SFSU account such as gmail or yahoo, the activation code email may be automatically filtered into your spam or junk folder.
- ALSO, you may have difficulty getting your activation code in time if the forwarding takes more than 20 minutes! In this case, you will need to unforward your email and access your sfsu.edu account to get your activation code. (go to MySFSU and click on email options.)
- Once you have received your activation code email, you must follow the instructions in the email on how to use your activation code and send a response within the required time period.
- If you do not complete the activation in time you will need to repeat the process.
- For all future logins to Confidential Communicator, you will need to remember and use your new username and secure password.
