moments on the air:
When The Grateful Dead's Jerry Garcia pulled out narcotics in the KQED
studio. Krasny politely asked him to put his cocaine away. The time Betty
Friedan threw off her headphones and walked out of a live interview. Krasny
calmed her down and coaxed her back into her seat.
Cause
for celebration:
Krasny
kicked off SFSU's yearlong centennial celebration with a live show at
a University retreat for faculty, staff and administrators in January
1999. He celebrated his 15th anniversary with "Forum" in March
2003.
