Spring 2011 Election:
University Advancement Activities Advisory Committee
Darlene Yee-Melichar
Professor & Coordinator, Gerontology Program
Dear SF State colleagues:
I am a candidate for the University Advancement Activities Advisory Committee, and I would appreciate your support.
If elected to serve as a member of this all-university committee, I will help to provide counsel on the planning and implementation of assignments such as alumni relations, commencement and other special events, development, governmental relations, public affairs, publications, and recommend developmental fund raising priorities to the President
I will draw upon my experiences as a member of the campus Academic Senate Executive Committee and statewide Academic Senate Extended Executive Committee to work with colleagues to represent SF State to the CSU, to the community, professional organizations, and to government agencies.
As a member of the University Advancement Activities Advisory Committee, I am committed to ensuring that faculty, staff, students and alumni are well-represented and that shared governance remains in effect.
I thank you for your consideration and support
Darlene Yee-Melichar, Ed.D., CHES, FGSA
