1978, the Academic Senate approved the following policy:
Students who have completed

credit, the student must present written certification from a recognized
military authority, such as papers from a military separation center or a
statement signed by a senior officer.
Students who have completed
United States Armed Forces Institute (USAFI) baccalaureate level courses may
receive extension credit provided that the total amount of extension credit,
from this and other sources, does not exceed 24 semester units.
Students who have completed
military courses and schools recommended for credit by the Commission on the
Accreditation of Service Experiences (CASE) may receive the number of units
recommended by the Commission, except that credit shall not be allowed for
those courses which are indicated as technical and vocational in nature.
