CLARIFICATION OF B-, C- GRADING WITH RESPECT

TO CR/NCR OPTIONS

ACADEMIC SENATE POLICY F79-49

At its meeting of October 9, 1979, the Academic Senate approved the following policy to clarify the B-, C- grading with respect to CR/NCR options:

1. A student in an undergraduate course must earn the equivalent of a C-grade in order to be eligible to receive the CR grade mark.

2. A student in a graduate course must earn the equivalent of a B- grade in order to receive the CR grade mark.
