Criteria:
1.  Student must have a declared major in the SFSU Department of Computer Science or Mathematics.
2.  Student must have completed a minimum of 60 units (upper division standing).
3.  Student must have a minimum SFSU GPA of 3.0.
4.  Student must demonstrate a financial need.

Application Procedure:
1.  A completed C.Y. Chow Memorial Scholarship application (this page).
2.  A paragraph or two covering the following topics: a) How you will use your degree to better the community upon graduation, b) Reasons for applying for this scholarship, and c) Your financial need.
3.  An e-mail recommendation from one SFSU professor in your major field of study to science@sfsu.edu.
4.  An unofficial current copy of your SFSU academic transcript.

Application Deadline:
Bring the completed application packet to the COSE Office of Alumni Relations & Student Projects, Science 248, or mail to: San Francisco State University, College of Science & Engineering, 1600 Holloway Avenue, San Francisco, CA 94132-4163, Attn: C.Y. Chow Scholarship Committee.
